Born Marisa Bertetta in Santa Cruz, California on August 6, 1978 Miller began her career at sixteen when she was spotted in San Francisco her modelling debut came shortly afterwards in the 1997 issue of Perfect 10 magazine. Soon after Miller was working for Victoria's Secret and such magazines as Fitness, Shape, and Vogue as well as appearing in every issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue since 2002 and in 2007 Miller made her debut Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
