Born on February 13, 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kelly Ann Hu began her career when she won Miss Hawaii Teen USA 1985 and subsequently Miss Teen USA 1985. Hu then worked in advertisements and commercials before moving into TV with appearances on many TV series before taking her first movie role in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan and followed it with No Way Back. In 1997 Hu spent six months on Sunset Beach, followed by the series Nash Bridges between 1997- 1998 and Martial Law 1998 – 2000. Hu then appeared in the movies The Scorpion King, Cradle 2 the Grave and X2. Lately Hu has taken a permanent role as Kelly Lee on the series In Case of Emergency.
