Born on February 17, 1976 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kelly Carlson began her career as a model working for Miller Lite, Rembrandt, and Oliver Peoples sunglasses. Carlson then began acting in theatres with performances in Vanities, Cheaters, Girls Guide to Chaos, Charlotte's Web and Can't Trust the Mate. Carlson eventually turned to films with a small part in 3000 Miles to Graceland, afterwards Carlson was cast as Kimber Henry in the TV series Nip/Tuck and had small parts in the first two season before becoming a regular. Whilst working on Nip/Tuck Carlson has also had parts in Paparazzi, The Marine, Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation, Everwood, Made of Honor, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami.
