Born on July 18, 1976 in Madrid, Spain, Elsa Pataky began her acting career when she was cast in the TV show Tio Willy she later had a recurring role in the series Al salir de clase, which she was on from 1997 till 1999. Pataky then moved into film with performances in Menos es más, Tatawo, El Arte de morir, Iznogoud and Astérix aux jeux olympiques. In 2006 Pataky appeared in the film Snakes on a Plane and later in Ninette. Pataky has also had success in modelling appearing on the covers of Glamour, GQ, Woman, Marie Claire, In Style, and Telva.
