Born on August 25, 1970 in Rheinberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, Claudia Schiffer began her modelling career when she was seventeen years old and signed with Metropolitan Model Agency, Schiffer was soon appear on the cover of French ELLE. Schiifer then took a job becoming the face of Chanel and later a Guess? girl. Schiffer soon began runway modelling appearing for Versace, Jil Sander, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren and Valentino, she has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Time, and she was the first model to appear on the cover of Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, the New York Times and People. Schiffer has been a model for Revlon, L'Oreal, Pepsi, Fanta, Citroën and Dom Perignon.
