Born on November 25, 1971 in Hollywood, California, Christina Applegate began her acting career at the age of three months when she appeared on Days of Our Lives with her mother. Applegate made her film debut when she was nine in the film Jaws of Satan, Applegate followed this with various TV shows including Washingtoon, Father Murphy, Charles in Charge, Heart of the City, Still the Beaver and Family Ties. In 1987 Applegate was cast in one of her best known roles as Kelly Bundy in Married... with Children Applegate played this role from 1987 till 1997. Whilst working on Married... with Children Applegate also appeared in Dance 'Til Dawn, Streets, 21 Jump Street, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Vibrations, Wild Bill, Mars Attacks and Nowhere. In 1998 Applegate starred in the series Jesse and in 2002 was seen in the successful movie The Sweetest Thing Applegate continued her success with a number of popular movies including View from the Top, Wonderland, Employee of the Month and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Applegate then took a job on the series Samantha Who?.
