Born on July 23, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Charisma Lee Carpenter began her acting career with small roles on TV shows including Baywatch, Miss Match and Malibu Shores. In 1997 Carpenter was cast in her best known role, that of Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and later on the spin off series Angel, Carpenter appeared in three seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and four seasons on Angel. Carpenter then had a recurring role as Kendall Casablancas on the show Veronica Mars, Carpenter later appeared in Voodoo Moon, Relative Chaos and Greek. In 2004 Carpenter appeared nude in the June issue of Playboy magazine.
