Born on 23 October 1976, in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England, Catherine Deeley began her modelling career at age fourteen and continued for some years. Deeley then moved into TV in 1997 presenting UK MTV with Edith Bowman in 1998 Deeley began to present the SMTV Live and continued until 2002. Deeley has also been involved with the shows CD:UK, CD:UK Hotshots ,Happiness, The Record of the Year, Fame Academy, Stars in Their Eyes and Roadtripping. In 2006 Deeley became the host of the reality TV show So You Think You Can Dance and was also involved in the sixth season of American Idol.
