Born on August 21, 1967 in Burnaby, British Columbia Carrie-Anne Moss began her acting career in 1991 in the TV series Dark Justice. Moss then made appearances in Nightmare Café, Forever Knight, Street Justice, Silk Stalkings, L.A. Law and Baywatch before she got a regular role on the series Models Inc. Moss then took on roles in the films The Soft Kill, Terrified, Sabotage, Lethal Tender, and The Secret Life of Algernon. Moss got her break in the as Trinity in the hugely successful movie The Matrix. Moss reprised the role of Trinity for both sequels and the video game and animated spin-offs of the film. Moss then got roles in The Crew, Red Planet, Chocolat and Memento.
