Born on August 29th, 1971, in Sarasota, Florida, Carla Gugino began her acting career when to guest star on shows such as Who's the Boss?, Alf and The Wonder Years and Falcon Crest's. In 1989 Gugino made her movie debut in Troop Beverly Hills, which she quickly followed with Welcome Home and Roxy Carmichael. In 1992 Gugino appeared in the TV movies A Private Matter, Murder Without Motive: The Edmund Perry Story and in 1993 Gugino got her first starring role in the movie Son in Law. Gugino was then in Motorcycle Gang, The Buccaneers, Miami Rhapsody, Spin City, Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco, The War at Home, Wedding Bell Blues and Michael. In 1998 Gugino co-starred in Snake Eyes and then in all three Spy Kids movies before returning to TV in Karen Sisco.
