Born on October 4, 1976 in San Francisco, California, Alicia Silverstone began her career at age six when she began modelling; the modelling led to commercials and eventually to geust appearances on the TV show The Wonder Years. Silverstone got her first starring role in the 1993 film The Crush in the same year Silverstone appeared in two made for TV movies Torch Song and Scattered Dreams. In 1995 Silverstone was in the movies Hideaway, the Babysitter and Le Nouveau Monde before she got her break when she was cast as Cher Horowitz in the movie Clueless. Silverstone went on to do the movies Excess Baggage, Batman & Robin, Blast from the Past and Love's Labour's Lost before she was cast in the TV series Miss Match, the series only lasted on season. Silverstone has recently done the movies Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Silence Becomes You, Beauty Shop, and Stormbreaker.
