Born November 19, 1961 in Fairfield, Connecticut Meg Ryan was born Margaret Mary Emily Hyra. Ryan began her acting career in TV commercials and got her first film role in 1981 in Rich and Famous after this from 1982 to 1984 Ryan was in the TV series As the World Turns. Ryan returned to film in Top Gun and in 1989 starred in the hit film When Harry Met Sally..., she then starred in the films The Doors, Prelude to a Kiss, Sleepless in Seattle, When a Man Loves a Woman, City of Angels and You've Got Mail. In 1997 Ryan was the voice of Princess Anastasia in the animated film Anastasia.
