Born April 2, 1970 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Roselyn Sanchez. Sanchez made her acting debut in the 1992 film Captain Ron and gained public interest from her work on the Puerto Rico show Que Vacilon. Sanchez went on to win first Miss Puerto Rico Petite contest and subsequently Miss America Petite. Following these victories Sanchez got her first English speaking part in As The World Turns Sanchez has since been cast in the movies Rush Hour 2, Chasing Papi ,Edison, Underclassman, Without a Trace and The Game Plan. In 2005 Sanchez released her first record Borinqueña.
