Born on May 23, 1974, in Payson, Utah, Jewel Kilcher began her career in 1995 when she released her debut album Pieces of You, the album was hugely successful and sold over 12 million copies in America. Kilcher followed her with Spirit in 1998 and Joy: A Holiday Collection in 1999 selling 4 million and a million copies respectively. Kilcher has since released This Way in 2001, 0304 in 2003 and Goodbye Alice In Wonderland in 2006, none of which were as successful as her previous albums.
