Born on September 16, 1981 in Houston, Texas Kimberly Alexis Bledel began her acting career in 1998 when she appeared in the movie Rushmore. Bledel got her breakthrough in 2000 when she was cast as Rory Gilmore in the TV series Gilmore Girls, Bledel continued the role until the series ended in 2007. In between working on Gilmore Girls Bledel has also been in Tuck Everlasting, DysEnchanted, Bride & Prejudice, The Orphan King, Sin City, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and I'm Reed Fish.
