Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on 20 June 1967 Nicole Mary Kidmangot her first acting part at age 15 with a supporting role in the TV series Five Mile Creek, Kidman followed this up with parts in Australian movies and TV series until in 1989 she starred in the film Dead Calm. Her career advanced with the movies Far and Away, Batman Forever, To Die For and the critically acclaimed Eyes Wide Shut.
