Born on August 30, 1972, in Long Beach, California, Cameron Diaz began her acting career in 1994 with the lead female role in The Mask, Diaz then had a number of low-budget films with The Last Supper, Feeling Minnesota and Head Above Water. Diaz returned to bigger movies in My Best Friend's Wedding and A Life Less Ordinary. Diaz breakthrough role came in 1998 with There's Something About Mary, followed with Any Given Sunday and the critically acclaimed Being John Malkovich.
