Born on July 24, 1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Anna Helene Paquin began her acting career at age eleven when she made her film debut in the critically acclaimed The Piano. For her role Paquin won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, making her the second youngest Oscar winner in history. Paquin then took roles in Jane Eyre and then starred in Fly Away Home and was later in The Member of the Wedding, Amistad, Hurlyburly and She's All That.
